That’s where we come in. Sabor a Mexico Salsas are flavorful and contain the perfect amount of heat. Each salsa is a celebration of our mexican roots and pays homage to the family whose recipes we still use today.

Each salsa is handcrafted to highlight the unique flavors (and colors) that make mexican culture and cuisine one of a kind. From mild & zesty to fiery & flavorful, we’re on a mission to show everyone exactly what REAL SALSA should taste like!

How it all Started

  • Abuela Dora's Taqueria

    Opened by Abuela Dora, Intertacos (est.1992) Known for their Al Pastor and Cochinita Pibil tacos, became the go-to taqueria for the neighborhood and our family meals.

  • Flavors Passed Down From Generations

    Helping raise her great grand kids, Abuelita Lupe’s cooking became a family staple and featured traditional flavors from her home state of Michoacan.

  • From Mexico City to Illinois

    Our family makes Glendale Heights our home and gets the opportunity to operate a small taqueria inside a local grocery store featuring the original Intertacos recipes.

  • A New Chapter Begins

    Over 20 years later, Sabor a Mexico is born and with it a new opportunity to share our passion for mexican food with the public! Look for us in and around the Chicagoland area.
